Accountant and CAF services for Venaria Reale

If you are looking for an accountant in Venaria Reale, the practice is about twenty minutes away: the office is in Turin, at via Sant'Antonino 52 in the Pozzo Strada district, in the same north-western half of the city. We see clients by appointment, and for most matters a video call saves the journey.

01 · The area

Venaria Reale, the town of the Reggia

Venaria Reale borders Turin along its north-western edge, beyond corso Grosseto and the Vallette, and Collegno, Druento and Borgaro. The Reggia (the royal palace) and the Mandria park bring visitors from all over the world every year, and around the historic centre of via Mensa hospitality, restaurant and retail businesses have grown up. Alongside tourism the town has a long industrial and craft history, with mechanical and service companies in the production areas, and residential districts inhabited by families who work in Venaria or in Turin.

From Pozzo Strada the distance is short: corso Regina Margherita or corso Potenza northwards, then the road to Venaria, in about twenty minutes. Anyone preferring public transport uses the buses to Turin or the railway line, and then the metro.

  • By car: towards Turin along corso Regina Margherita or corso Potenza, then corso Lecce to piazza Rivoli. About twenty minutes.
  • By public transport: bus or train to Turin, then line 1 to Pozzo Strada.
  • By video call, with the documents shared on screen and signatures collected remotely.
  • By appointment: the office does not receive visitors without a booking.

Short-term lets, bed and breakfasts and restaurants in Venaria

Many residents have turned a room, a flat or a house into a hospitality business for visitors to the Reggia. The forms are different, and the difference between an occasional activity and a business decides whether a partita IVA (Italian VAT number) is needed, which taxes are paid and which municipal obligations apply.

The tourist tax belongs to the Comune di Venaria Reale (the municipality): it is collected from the guest and paid with the periodic declaration provided for by the regulation. The platforms sometimes withhold it directly; in that case you still need to check what remains the host's responsibility.
03 · VAT numbers

Mechanical firms, artisans and shops in the centre

Venaria's production areas house mechanical, maintenance and service companies, many of which work as suppliers to larger firms. In the historic centre and along the main streets, retail and service trades work with residents and tourists. For all of them what counts is having up-to-date accounts and planned deadlines.

Subcontracting

A few large clients and long payment terms: receivables and cash flow to plan together with the taxes.

Shops

Daily takings, SCIA to the Comune, premises in the centre and the seasonality of tourist flows.

Guides and tourism services

Individual VAT numbers under the flat-rate scheme, with the Gestione Separata (the INPS scheme for those without a professional fund) and invoices to clients abroad too.

Changing accountant

Handover at any time, with the transfer of the books without interruption.

04 · Local rules

What the Comune di Venaria Reale decides

Anyone resident in Venaria follows their own Comune's resolutions for some taxes and charges, regardless of where they work and where the practice is. These are the items to check when moving from Turin or another municipality.

  • IMU (municipal property tax): rates and allowances of the Comune di Venaria Reale, its own authority code on the F24 (the Italian tax payment form), exemption on your main home.
  • Municipal surcharge on income, with rate and exemption threshold decided locally.
  • Tourist tax for hosts, with the municipal regulation and deadlines.
  • TARI (waste charge) and reductions, some linked to the ISEE (the Italian means-test indicator).
  • Charged services: school meals, nursery, school transport and summer camps with the Comune's ISEE bands.
  • Moving during the year: IMU and the surcharge follow the months and residence at 1 January, with adjustments to check.
National benefits stay the same everywhere: the Assegno Unico (universal child allowance), utility bonuses, NASpI (unemployment benefit) and pensions. The CAF's Centro Raccolta Dati (data collection centre of the authorised tax assistance centre) works for anyone, whatever their municipality of residence.

Frequently asked

The questions that keep coming up

I let two rooms of my house to Reggia tourists at weekends. Do I need a partita IVA?

If the activity remains occasional, in the home you live in and within the limits of the regional bed and breakfast regulation, no: the income is declared as other income. If the activity becomes continuous, open for most of the year, a partita IVA is needed.

In both cases the guest notification, the Comune's tourist tax and the SCIA where required remain. See the page on short-term lets for letting a whole flat.

I moved from Turin to Venaria. What do I have to update?

The municipal surcharge changes from the following year, because it follows residence at 1 January. The IMU changes from the month of the move: the home in Venaria becomes your main residence and is exempt, the one left in Turin, if you keep it, becomes a second home.

Municipal services with the ISEE and the TARI also follow Venaria. Bring us the dates of the move and the cadastral details of the properties.

My workshop works for a single large client that pays at ninety days. How do I manage taxes and contributions?

By building the payment calendar on the real collection times, and estimating the advance payments on the current year instead of the previous one when turnover changes. Invoices unpaid beyond the terms have recovery tools and, in certain cases, the credit note.

With the accounts updated month by month you can see in advance when cash will be tight and decide beforehand.

How long does it take from Venaria to the office?

By car about twenty minutes along corso Regina Margherita or corso Potenza to piazza Rivoli, then the inner streets of Pozzo Strada. By public transport, bus or train to Turin and the metro to Pozzo Strada.

For the 730, the ISEE and bookkeeping you do not need to come: we work remotely and you come to the office only when it is indispensable.
