Looking for an accountant in Cenisia? The practice is in the neighbourhood next door, in Pozzo Strada, at via Sant'Antonino 52: from piazza Rivoli or corso Racconigi you can walk there or take the metro one stop. We work by appointment, in the office or by video call.
Cenisia is the western neighbourhood between corso Francia and corso Peschiera, with corso Trapani marking the border with Pozzo Strada and the Politecnico's Cittadella on corso Castelfidardo at the opposite end. It is a mixed area, grown up around the workshops and small factories of the past: today, in place of the sheds, there are homes, workshops and shops, with the long market on corso Racconigi as the daily point of reference.
For anyone living or working here the office in via Sant'Antonino is a stone's throw away. From the Rivoli station on line 1 it is a few minutes on foot; from piazza Bernini or corso Racconigi you take the metro towards Fermi and get off at Pozzo Strada.
The neighbourhood has kept a share of craft businesses that has disappeared elsewhere: body shops and mechanics, carpenters, upholsterers, plumbers and electricians, repair workshops, tailors. They are almost always sole proprietorships or family businesses, with an owner who does everything and has little time for paperwork.
For these businesses the practice's work has two sides: keeping the obligations in order during the year and saying in advance how much will be due, so that June and November bring no surprises.
Registration with the Chamber of Commerce as a craft business, with the professional requirements where the trade demands them.
Flat-rate scheme with the coefficient of your ATECO code (the business activity code), or simplified accounting when the cost of materials and equipment weighs heavily.
Fixed quarterly contributions to INPS (Italian social security) plus a share on the excess income, with the reduction available under the flat-rate scheme.
Depreciation of machinery, van and tools, and deductibility of the vehicle used for work.
Spouse or children working in the workshop: how to attribute income and contributions.
Handover at any time of the year, with the transfer of the books and the credentials.
Corso Racconigi, via Frejus, via Monginevro and the surrounding streets have a dense network of food shops, bars, bakeries, hairdressers and small businesses. Added to the market stalls, they make Cenisia an area where retail is still a neighbourhood trade, with the obligations that come with it.
| Obligation | Who it concerns | Practical note |
|---|---|---|
| Electronic daily takings | Shops with over-the-counter sales | The till transmits on its own, but the closures must be checked every month |
| Commercial SCIA | Openings, takeovers, changes of sector | Filed with the Comune di Torino (the municipality) before starting |
| Trading on public land | Market stalls | Pitch concession and contribution compliance to renew it |
| VAT settlements | Those under the ordinary regime | Monthly or quarterly, with the periodic return |
| Lease of the premises | Anyone with a rented shop | Registration and annual tax, even when the landlord pays it |
| Food and drink service | Bars and restaurants | Professional requirements and health obligations alongside the tax ones |
Proximity to the Politecnico has changed part of the neighbourhood. Many flats between corso Castelfidardo and corso Racconigi are let to students, by the room or whole, and the owners find themselves managing short contracts, frequent changes of tenant and income to declare every year.
Student contracts move with the academic calendar and every change must be notified.
Alongside the businesses, Cenisia remains a neighbourhood of long-standing residents: families, pensioners, people who have always had their home here. For them the practice works as a CAF (authorised tax assistance centre), with the annual filings handled in person or remotely.
The flat-rate scheme exempts you from ordinary bookkeeping, but there are still electronic invoices to issue, INPS contributions to pay and the annual return with the calculation of the substitute tax.
The practice keeps the invoice register and tells you in advance the amount of the advance and balance payments, so that the June and November payments are already planned.
Yes. The contract, even for a single room, must be registered and the rent must be shown in the return. If the contract falls within the type for university students you can apply the cedolare secca at the reduced rate.
Not registering means losing the cedolare secca and risking the penalty for failure to register, as well as full taxation of the income when it comes to light.
The tax side is similar: partita IVA, daily takings, INPS contributions as a trader and the tax return. The difference lies in the pitch concession, which is an administrative permit from the Comune and requires contribution compliance.
The DURC (the certificate of contribution compliance) must be kept valid, because without INPS compliance the concession may not be renewed even if your taxes are in order.
A few minutes on foot: via Sant'Antonino is in the part of Pozzo Strada between corso Francia and corso Peschiera, just beyond corso Trapani.
If you would rather avoid the trip, a video call is arranged at the same times and with the same appointment.
VAT and INPS deadlines do not wait for the end of the year. We send you a personalised calendar and speak before every payment.
